Meet the Team
Troy Schmitz - Franchise Owner
Troy graduated with an industrial engineering degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) in Milwaukee, WI. Previous work experience includes being the global operations manager of a life science company, and general manager of a high speed packaging company. He is a certified dental equipment repair technician, as well as certified to service Carestream equipment. His strengths are his excellent customer service and creative solutions for atypical problems. Troy decided to open his own Dental Fix franchise in summer of 2019. He enjoys craft beer, woodworking, and relaxing on his boat. He is also a season ticket holder for the Green Bay Packers.

Spencer Schmitz - Regional Manager
Spencer has been with Dental Fix Rx since its inception in 2019. He has been selling small dental equipment for the past 10 years and is a certified dental equipment repair technician. His strengths are his extensive background in repair, his excellent customer service and he likes to bring his dog Zoey along on calls (she loves it when you come and say hi!) When not at work, you can find him at music festivals, fishing and spending time with Zoey. He also roots for the Packers on Sundays.

Tyler Sanford - Technician
Tyler is the newest member of the Dental Fix Rx team. He has a background in manufacturing, and is a certified CNC machinist. He has previously worked in sales at an engineering firm as an applications engineer. Tyler's background in manufacturing processes and quality control are shown in his attention to detail, customer service and ability to hit tight deadlines. His hobbies include building/driving remote control cars, hiking, and photography. He is excited to build relationships with customers and learn more about the dental world.
